Many standards and methods: GEO5 is an universal tool for engineers all over the world
The GEO5 programs allow you to verify the design according to
- Eurocodes EN 1997, including national annexes;
- US Load and Resistance Factor Design (LRFD);
- Chinese GB Standards;
- Theory of Safety Factors (ASD);
- Theory of Limit States (LSD).
Some programs (e.g. Spread Footing, Pile) have built-in local geotechnical standards (Spanish CTE, New Zealand B1/VM4, German DIN, Russian SNiP, Indian IS, British BS, etc...).
Material standards are an integral part of the programs for instance in the verification of the bearing capacity of the designed structure. More than 15 material standards are implemented.
In addition to concrete and steel structures, structures made of other materials can also be verified; i.e. timber, masonry, composite, etc.
